JIM JONES CATCHES A CASE

As a result of an altercation between rapper Jim Jones and members of R&B singer Ne-Yo's entourage on December 24 in a Manhattan Louis Vuitton store, Jones has been hit with a misdemeanor assault charge today (January 5). Earlier this morning, Jones turned himself in to the NYPD after a warrant was issued and arrangements made by attorney Scott Leemon last week. Jones court date is scheduled for February 4. He has declined any further comments at this time.
50 CENT CELEBRATES LIFE RESPONSIBLY
Words: Marisa M.Not exactly. Violator Management, whose roster includes heavy weights such as 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes, has inked a deal with Drinks Americas to market Leyrat Cognac and Sparkling Vodka brands. 50 and Busta will become the new faces of the liquors.News of Violator's agreement with Drinks Americas comes amid agreements the company made to produce various celebrity branded drinks that include Willie Nelson, Donald Trump, Paul Newman and Dr. Dre. The liquors are scheduled to be on the market later this year.

EMINEM IS BACK
Words: Colbi A.Eminem just released a new single, Crack a Bottle on New Years. He had previously released two unfinished productions which were Relapse and Number One, produced by Dr. Dre. It seems as if Eminem is attempting to make a comeback. His last album, Encore, was released back in 2004. Hopefully he has a new project to come soon.


NEW BIGGIE BEFORE THE SOUNDTRACK

The MC, the legend; Notorious B.I.G has been getting a lot of attention recently in light of the biopic dropping January 16th. On December 26th, Mister Cee of Hot 97 delivered a late Christmas gift to New York when he dropped a few exclusive and unreleased tracks from the Brooklyn MC’s arsenal, including this demo Microphone Murderer. Mister Cee aka Calvin Laburn acted as associate executive producer on Biggie’s “Ready To Die.” Happy Holidays folks.
